FREELANCE ONLINE EDITOR, GirlsLife.com
Total part-time, flex gig writing and editing (30-40 hrs/month) for this preteen/teen girls’ magazine’s site; $20-30/hour (based on prior experience). You’d:
Post 8 new pieces of content on the site each week (short posts: stuff that girls will eat up: stories that are in the news that week: celeb, trends, social, relationships, beauty, fashion). You’d also place the photos from the brand’s Shutterstock account.
Edit 8 archived posts and repost each week.
Write / edit e-newsletter, as needed to promo that awesome content you created.
Have access to all the site analytics so you can figure out what’s working and what’s not.
+ BONUS: If you live and breathe puppies, inspo quotes, and teen pop, you can manage the brand’s Instagram feed and @chloesbookclub ($500/month with a bare minimum of 4 posts a week). Ideally the web editor would also be the Instagram editor. But doesn’t have to be.
