An experienced editor of both the magazine and digital worlds, Christie Griffin has spent more than a decade in New York as a content creator and strategist. She is currently a freelance editor and digital consultant and was most recently the editorial Digital Director for Fitness magazine for nearly four years. Previously, she was at Cosmopolitan for five years, starting as an Associate Editor, then becoming the brand’s first-ever dedicated web editor, and eventually being named the Senior Web Editor. Christie got her start as an Editorial Assistant at CosmoGIRL!, and held internships for the USA Gymnastics Federation and The Times of Northwest Indiana newspaper.
3 Things You Should Know: 1. Christie grew up in a small town in Indiana called Munster and got her Journalism degree from Indiana University. 2. She recently spent a year in Virginia to be with her now-husband…but they are happily back in NYC. 3. She’s been involved with Ed2010 since she was Chandra’s intern at CG!, back in 2004.
