Vice President, Education
Sarah kicked off her career as an intern at Teen magazine (R.I.P.), where the editors introduced her to this super-handsome bald guy named Ed. After graduating from the University of Southern California, she chased one of Ed’s whispers all the way across the country and landed an editorial assistant position at MVP|NY, which publishes four travel titles about New York City. Since then, she has held positions on the features teams at Time Out New York, Fit Pregnancy and Natural Health, Food Network Magazine, and Women’s Health. She has also written for CNTraveler.com, InStyle, Family Circle, Cosmopolitan and Health.com, among other national outlets.
3 things to know: 1. She’s a tried-and-true generalist, but the beats she gravitates toward most naturally are food/drink, travel and (surprise, surprise) careers. 2. In college, she helped launch a monthly lifestyle and entertainment glossy called Saturday Night Magazine, which ultimately expanded to schools across the Pac-12 (then Pac-10), as well as Los Angeles newsstands. 3. She’s been a loyal Ed staffer since 2008.
3 things you didn’t really need to know: 1. A proud former choir nerd, she’s always had a special place in her heart for college a cappella (way before Pitch Perfect lit up the silver screen). 2. She collects cookbooks. 3. Blue hydrangeas and white ranunculus will make her day—as will a bag of super-sour gummy candy.
