A support group for job seekers in the content industry
Looking for work can be isolating. So many editorial and content leaders tell me they are going crazy at home, sitting in front of their computers trying to connect with humans for job opps and clients, with frustratingly little feedback. It’s soul-crushing to know that your skills and years of experience and talent are being overlooked or, worse, undervalued. Many editors tell me the hardest part of this market isn’t just the rejection — it’s feeling like they’re going it alone.

Join my group career therapy series, Search Together, led by me, Chandra Turner. Every week we’ll tackle a different hair-pulling aspect of the job search process and figure out how to navigate it together. We will share leads, strategize applications, and support each other through the content industry job market.
Job searching is lonely and exhausting. Doing it together makes it faster, smarter, and far less demoralizing.

When does the class meet? We have two groups that meet on Tuesdays 12-1 and 1-2 pm EST via Google Meet.

• You are looking for a recruiter to place you in a job
• You are brand new to the editorial or content industry
• You are planning to leave the content (storytelling, media, marketing) industry entirely to pursue a completely different career path. (I mean, go you, but this is for people who still want to tell stories.)

What is Search Together?
For $79/month you get:
- Weekly one-hour group sessions with a group of like-minded women in the same boat as you moderated by Chandra Turner on a Google Meet.
- You will pay $79/month for 4 sessions a month. That’s less than $20 a session. You can stop after a month or stick with the group, up to you.

Who is this class for?
Search Together is designed for editors, writers, content strategists and leaders with a background in traditional media, journalism, content marketing, and/or editorial and are looking for strategies to move into content marketing, marketing, and content adjacent roles (internal comms, external comms, content marketing, thought leadership, b2b comms, etc.). Most participants will be senior-level and above although if I have a good group of early-or-mind career applicants, I can make a special group for you, too.
Why do I have to apply?
It’s just a quick form. I want to make sure we get the right mix of people with similar career backgrounds, skillsets, goals — and no conflicts of interests (like, um, your boss in the same group). And to ensure that everyone is in the spirit of supporting each other.
How do I know when class will be?
For the Spring session of Search Together groups meet via Google Meet on Tuesdays from 12-1 pm EST and 1-2 pm EST.
How is this different from other Talent Fairy coaching?
I will be moderating the discussion and providing insight and advice at every session along with other members of the group. But I will not be coaching you specifically. (Happy to on the side though, take a look at my 1:1 coaching services.)
