Brand Content Manager

  • ABOUT ROSE INGLETON MD SKIN
  • ROSE Ingleton MD Skin is a prestige clinical skincare brand founded by Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton, a board-certified dermatologist with 30+ years of practice in New York City. Our formulas are built for melanin-rich skin and backed by clinical science. We sell DTC at rosemdskin.com and at Sephora.com, and we’re growing fast.
  • THE ROLE
  • We’re hiring a Brand Content Manager to be the day-to-day steward of the ROSE Ingleton MD brand: how we look, how we sound, and how we show up across every channel. This is not a designer role. It’s a brand manager role – someone who deeply understands our positioning and can manage the creation of content, storytelling, and materials that bring it to life consistently, clearly, and cohesively.
  • You’ll direct and coordinate content across organic social, influencer, UGC, and retail marketing – briefing freelancers and agencies, creating content yourself when needed, and making sure nothing ships that doesn’t feel like ROSE MD. You’ll also own the operational backbone: the marketing calendar and asset library that keep everything running on time and on brand. As the team grows, this role has a clear path toward broader marketing ownership.
  • WHAT YOU’LL OWN
  • Brand & content stewardship
Own the visual and voice identity day-to-day. Brief our freelance creatives and build your partner bench. QA everything before it goes out. Know the brand well enough to say “that’s not us” and know what “us” actually looks like. Own and maintain the marketing calendar and asset library, the operational backbone of everything we produce. Translate company vision and strategy into polished, on-brand marketing assets for internal and external audiences.
  • Organic social
Drive strategy and execution on Instagram and TikTok. Create Reels, posts, and carousels yourself when needed. Write captions. Engage with our community daily. Draft reports and glean insights. Pivot or test as needed. We post with intention and restraint – editorial quality over volume.
  • Influencer & UGC
Build and manage our micro-influencer seeding program. Source UGC, manage rights, and keep the library organized. Collaborate with paid media agencies for UGC needs and briefs.
  • Retail & copy
Support Sephora ppage content and Amazon A+ assets. Keep product descriptions sharp and on-brand across all channels. Collaborate with the team for marketing needs during key promotional events.
  • OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • You eat, sleep, and breathe skincare. You have a point of view on brands – what works, what doesn’t, and why. You’re the person who notices when a caption sounds off, when a visual doesn’t land, when something feels generic. You can create content yourself (iPhone + CapCut is fine), but your real value is knowing what great looks like and making sure we get there. And you’re the kind of person who can build and maintain a content system and supply chain that keeps the brand, team/agencies, and partners up to date, organized, and fresh.
  • Required Experience
  • 4–6 years in beauty/skincare marketing with clear ownership of brand voice or social content
  • Portfolio of content you’ve created or closely art-directed – not just managed
  • Strong copywriting skills (product, social, paid, wholesale)
  • Influencer and UGC program experience
  • Commercial context: Shopify, Sephora, Amazon, or similar
  • Experience owning a marketing calendar and asset management system
  • Highly organized and thrives in a lean, fast-moving startup environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Preferred Background
  • Prestige beauty brand experience, ideally with Sephora
  • Familiarity with an editorial social approach (quality over quantity)
  • Clinical skincare knowledge or a strong passion to learn
  • WHAT WE OFFER
  • $75,000–$85,000 annual salary + benefits
  • Remote, flexible schedule (EST preferred)
  • Direct line to CEO, small but mighty, highly-engaged team
  • Real ownership – not a channel manager, a brand steward and guardian
  • Mission-driven work at the intersection of dermatology and equity

  • HOW TO APPLY
  • Send an email to [email protected] with:
  • Resume as PDF attachment
  • Portfolio: 3–5 examples of content you created or closely directed: social posts, copy, campaigns. PDFs preferred, links okay.
  • A short note in body of email (3–5 sentences): What draws you to skincare marketing? What brand’s organic social do you think is doing it right right now, and why?
  • **Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • ROSE Ingleton MD Skin is an equal opportunity employer. Our mission — creating equity in dermatology — only means something if it’s reflected in the team that builds this brand. We actively welcome candidates of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, and backgrounds. People with personal and professional connection to the communities we serve are especially encouraged to apply.
