Job Description: Adventure Publishing seeks two fall interns to work in our NYC office on trade publications The Toy Book and The Licensing Book, as well as consumer-facing websites The Toy Insider and The Big Toy Book. Interns will be responsible for reviewing and blogging about toys and kids’ entertainment, and will contribute to our social media content, posting on toybook.com, licensingbook.com, toyinsider.com, thebigtoybook.com, Twitter, and Facebook.
Potential interns should be English/Journalism majors who have an interest in magazine writing and editing, as well as experience with social media and WordPress. Experience with QuarkXPress/InDesign is a plus, but not required.
Interns are eligible to receive travel reimbursement and college credit (but it’s not required).
Hours: 9:30-5, two days/week
Stipend: travel reimbursement
