Job Description: ALT CITIZEN is a Brooklyn based music and culture blog. We also run a quarterly print publication that is available for free in select locations all over the country and produce events that showcase innovative artists.
We are looking for open-minded passionate writers who see our platform as a place to share their voice, insight, and creativity.
All writers will be responsible for
1. Conducting interviews with artists (email, phone, or in-person)
2. Microblogging about music and art curated by our editor
3. Pitching ideas about think pieces regarding pop culture and politics
4. Live show reviews
