Job Description: Mommy Nearest, one of the fastest-growing mobile apps in the parenting space, is looking for a driven and highly motivated editorial assistant to join our team. The assistant will work directly with our editor-in-chief, CEO and members of our creative team.
Responsibilities include:
– Pitch, research, write and produce traffic-driving content directly into our internal CMS system on a daily basis
– Oversee weekly newsletters
– Generate posts for social channels, including Facebook, Twitter and instagram; cultivate relationships with other sites for link building
– Cover industry happenings, including event/product launches and interview thought-leaders in the parenting space
– Monitor various news services for relevant breaking stories about parenting and families
