• Creating new content on a daily basis (by some combination of writing him or herself and recruiting from contributors) a minimum of five articles and briefs a day with an eye for breaking news and creating compelling, viral, and compulsively-clicked content
• Recruiting and managing full-content RSS feeds
• Assigning articles to freelancers
• Balancing workload to include daily articles (a combination of longer, promotional-partner appropriate stories, SEO targeted stories, and stories oriented toward social topics) as well
Job Description:DRINK EDITOR – Job Description
The Drink editor is responsible for the Drink Channel, including:
• posting 5 drink related stories per day
• posting at least 1 drink related “tent pole” story per month
• managing, maintaining, and recruiting city editors for all 24 of the Drink channel’s city pages (and growing)
• Regularly updating the Drinks channel home page and section pages
