Alessandra is the Editor of POPSUGAR Latina. Before landing her current job, she was the beauty editor at Fit Pregnancy and Natural Health and part of the beauty team at O, the Oprah Magazine for four years—where her writing for Hair Extravaganza in the September 2013 issue won a National Magazine Award for Leisure Interests. Before that, she was the beauty blogger at SELF and interned at MVP NY, Maxim.com and Blender.com. Her writing has also been published in The Knot, Dr. Oz The Good Life, Martha Stewart Living, Birchbox.com, WomensHealthMag.com, TONY.com and CosmoGIRL.com. Ale (Ah-leh, not ale) and Ed have been inseparable since they met back when she was a sophomore at Hofstra University.
