Whispers Manager
Jayme recently landed a role as Associate Editor at O, The Oprah Magazine, working on developing the iPad app! She interned there this past spring (and internship she heard about from Ed), and then spent the summer in Chicago with family relaxing and hanging out at her lakehouse. She also currently freelances for IN and WHERE New York magazines as well as AOL Travel (yep, both jobs she got through Ed), and when she’s not working for or reading a magazine, she’s most likely eating pizza, drinking wine, listening to music, hanging out with Ed…or all of the above.
3 Things You Might Want to Know: 1. For as long as she can remember, she has wanted to be a writer and still has copies of the poetry and short stories she wrote in grammar school. 2. Aside from her passion for writing and editing, her first love will always be music and all things related to it (she even played DJ once at a bar in the East Village!). 3. Jayme loves NYC, but hates living so far from her family, especially her three younger brothers.
3 Things You Really Didn’t Need to Know: 1. Jayme has always had a healthy obsession with Michael Jackson (and has resisted all urges to flourish this bio with lyrics and song titles). 2. Jayme is a self-proclaimed wine-o: her vices are a crisp and chilly Sauvignon Blanc in the summer or a smooth, California Cabernet in the fall. She’s an avid host of “pizza and wine nights” and will plan your party for a small fee. 3. She has a cat named Princess who stayed behind in Chicago and will hopefully be making a trek to the big city soon.
