Ashley Ross

May 1, 2011 by Lauren

Ashley met Ed during her junior year at the University of Florida, and he helped her land editorial internships at Country Living and Us Weekly. She was lucky enough to start freelancing for Us Weekly while she was still in college leading her to trail Tiger Woods and his many mistresses in Orlando, Fl. After graduation—and a slew of interviews in the rain—she landed her first job (which she found with Ed’s help) at Worth magazine.

She eventually networked her way to the features department of Marie Claire and the digital team at SHAPE. She now works as an audience engagement editor for TIME.com.

3 things to know: 1. She was running through the Atlanta airport to catch a flight when she was offered her first job. 2. She is absolutely obsessed with the Florida Gators and will wear anything orange and blue (and yes, she loves Tim Tebow, too) 3. She’s an aspiring novelist and is writing her first book.

3 things you didn’t need to know: 1. She makes a killer chocolate matzoh. 2. Yes, her hair is naturally curly. 3. She was a gymnast for 10 years and a competitive weightlifter in high school.
