Lauren graduated from Villanova University in 2009, and after a bit of time freelancing for Good Housekeeping, Martha Stewart Living, and This Old House magazines, happily landed at Ladies’ Home Journal where she worked on features, lifestyle and travel stories for three-and-a-half years. Today, she’s an editor on the brand new, bigger-and-better digital team at Good Housekeeping.
3 Things You Might Want to Know: 1. She’s as addicted to her blog reader as she is to the stacks of magazines that dot her apartment. 2. She majored in communication in college, but minored in math (seriously!), so yes, she does in fact understand any numerical jargon she may come across while writing and editing. 3. You guessed it: she lives in Brooklyn.
3 Things You Really Didn’t Need to Know: 1. She loves food writing, and eagerly makes sure to get her hands on any advance copies of foodie memoirs that come into the office. 2. She has eaten eggs from Martha Stewart’s farm. 3. She tap dances (once in a studio, now mostly around her kitchen).
