Ed Researcher
Maressa is a staff writer for The Stir on CafeMom.com. She has also freelanced for AOL’s MyDaily.com (previously Lemondrop.com), YourTango.com, Better Homes & Gardens, Woman’s World and Girls’ Life. Prior to her current gigs, she was assistant health editor at First for Women, associate editor at Popstar! magazine and interned at Daily Variety, Boston magazine and Screen magazine. While spending her evenings chatting up crazy celebs for Variety in 2005, a fellow intern was incredulous upon hearing that Maressa did not yet know about Ed! Thus began her ritual waiting game for his daily love (news)letter, hoping that dear Ed would hook her up with that ever-coveted, full-time NYC editor gig. She actually made her way back east not long after, met the amazing Chandra at an Ed event and now has the honor of tweeting the top media headlines to Edsters!
