Interns may work remotely from home or school. The ideal candidate is motivated, skilled in research and reporting, knowledgeable about the latest trends in women’s health and wellness, has excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), the ability to multitask and a strong understanding of how social media works.
Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities:
*Posting daily to social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram
*Tracking daily analytics for HealthyWomen.org
*Contributing to HealthyWomen’s community
*Writing weekly blog posts
*Selecting daily news stories and optimizing for SEO
Requirements:
*Excellent writing ability, Familiarity with popular social networks
*An understanding of SEO and how to implement
*Interest in women’s health and wellness
*A keen eye for selecting interesting content for the web
*Photoshop experience a plus
*CMS and light HTML coding experience a plus
