Colleen hails from Wilmington, Delaware – the state of tax-free shopping, and Joe Biden! She attended Rutgers University and early on had a passion for all things magazines (that and she couldn’t do math to save her life). She jumped on the intern bandwagon after freshman year and landed positions at Delaware Today, Philadelphia STYLE and an internship at Fitness magazine, which she got thanks to an Ed Whisper. After graduating she packed up and moved to New York City. She’s typed away at Hearst as the Web Editor of CosmoGirl.com, Associate Web Editor of RealBeauty.com, Senior Web Editor at FitnessMagazine.com, and now mixes digital with television as a Senior Editor and Producer at DoctorOz.com.
3 things to know: 1. The TV world is nothing like the magazine world, you heard it here first. 2. Yes, people . 2. She is a digital gal through and through. She started working in digital with her first job after college and has stuck with it since. 3. Although she is #teamdigital, nothing beats a good to-do list with pen and paper.
3 things you really didn’t need to know: 1. If there were nothing on this Earth to eat for cheese and chocolate, she’d be just fine with that. 2. She loves to run! Preferably with her favorite running buddy, her dog Nelly. 3. Don’t worry, she loves cats, too. She’s a mom to a 20-pound Maine Coon cat named Oreo. (Bet you can’t guess what colors he is.)
