Gennifer is the associate site editor at Luxe Interiors + Design, where she oversees digital initiatives including social media strategy, site production, and newsletters.

Gen’s been hangin’ with Ed since her freshman year at Hofstra University, where she was the president of her school’s chapter. She’s interned for Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, Town & Country, O, The Oprah Magazine, Floor Covering Weekly, and also freelanced for Glamour’s news editorial department. She helped launch Her Campus Media’s career profiles section as its first-ever editor, where she was lucky enough to feature the charming Chandra Turner and other industry pros like Seventeen‘s Ann Shoket. She was previously an admissions assistant for Ed on Campus and now, as a reporter, covers everything from events to news for Ed’s homepage.

3 things you should know: 1) She’s had the pleasure of interning for Ed staffers Colleen, Rachel, and Ale. 2) She was a CosmoGIRL! (RIP) stringer in high school and the experience inspired her to study journalism. 3) The way to her heart is through a superb Spotify playlist or a great magazine article. 

3 things you really didn’t need to know: 1) She’s first generation American as her parents were born in the Ukraine. 2) She was a tour guide in college—just like Ed Features Editor and fellow Hofstra U alum Ariana—so yes, she had to walk backwards. 3) Her favorite magazine is New York; she reads its sites Vulture and The Cut like, on the reg.
